Hummel (Late Production) exterior 1:35 is a set of photo-etched parts from Eduard for detailing the external elements of a model of this German self-propelled gun. It is an accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This exterior set brings fine photo-etched parts for detailing the external parts of a model of the German Hummel self-propelled gun in its late production version, in 1:35 scale. It typically covers the thin plates of the fighting compartment, brackets, grilles and other small elements that plastic cannot capture faithfully. It is not a vehicle kit but an accessory. It is made by the Czech company Eduard.
The Hummel was a German heavy self-propelled gun of the Second World War that combined a 150 mm howitzer with a chassis derived from the Panzer III and IV tanks. It served as mobile artillery support for armored units. The late production version differed in changes to the hull and the fighting compartment.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and make the bends in a bender for clean edges. Use cyanoacrylate glue to fix them. Degrease the thin plates before varnishing; for the final weathering, washes and pigments imitating mud and dust work well.
This is an accessory set, not a model in its own right. The base kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
