This item is not a model of the vehicle but a set of photo-etched parts. It serves for finer work on a plastic model of the HMMWV in the M1097A2 version, which you obtain separately. Eduard is a Czech manufacturer from Obrnice near Most and photo-etched accessories are among its strongest lines. The manufacturer's part number corresponds to a full photo-etched set for 1:35 vehicles, not to a reduced Zoom subset.
The HMMWV is an American light tactical vehicle that from the mid-1980s replaced older jeeps and light trucks. The M1097A2 version falls into the heavy series with a strengthened chassis and a higher payload. It serves as a carrier for cargo and equipment containers and as a tow vehicle for light trailers. It has appeared in practically all overseas deployments of the US armed forces from the Gulf War on.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, not with side cutters. Make the bends over a metal ruler or in a bender so that the edge stays straight along its whole length. A degreased surface holds paint considerably more reliably. Before spraying it pays to apply a primer meant for metal.
