Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Israeli M113 Zelda armored personnel carrier in 1:35 scale from the South Korean maker Academy. It is a classic kit on plastic sprues that captures the form of the vehicle in service with the Israel Defense Forces. You will find the contents of the box on the packaging.
The M113 is an American tracked armored personnel carrier with a hull of welded aluminum armor, which became one of the most widespread vehicles of its category in the world. The Israel Defense Forces introduced it in large numbers and the nickname Zelda took hold for it. The vehicle carries an infantry squad under armor, is entered through a folding rear ramp, and its typical armament is a 12.7 mm heavy machine gun at the commander's hatch. Israeli examples differ from the American form in the additions that practice called for: shields around the machine gun positions, baskets and racks for personal equipment and further small things. The Zelda went through service from the war of 1973 through operations in Lebanon to later decades.
With a tracked vehicle it pays to finish the running gear and any interior before the hull is closed up - after that you will not reach them. Paint the tracks and the wheels separately from the hull, which makes the work easier. Israeli machinery is typically displayed with a heavy layer of dust, so a saturated base tone complemented with a wash into the shadows and pigments on the running gear and the lower sections suits it well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
