The set from the maker SX-Art is a detail add-on, not a model of the vehicle. It serves to imitate realistically the optical vision blocks, periscopes and viewing devices on a model of the Russian 2S19 Msta-S self-propelled howitzer in 1:35. Faithfully rendered optics with the look of glass replace the flat plastic imitations from the kit and bring both the turret and the hull to life. The set is designed for the Zvezda kit.
The 2S19 Msta-S is a Russian tracked 152 mm self-propelled howitzer on a chassis derived from tank equipment. It serves for artillery support over long ranges. Its viewing devices and periscopes are small but conspicuous items, and a realistic look to them moves a model toward display case quality.
Fit the clear items only at the end of the build, so that they do not get scratched. Use a glue suitable for clear parts, which will not haze the surface. The shades and reflections can be fine-tuned with tinting filters; take care that the faces are clean and handle them gently with tweezers.
This is an add-on set, not a whole model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
