The number in the name tells the individual versions of the door apart within the range.
The working doors of industrial buildings have a different logic from dwelling houses: a plain leaf with no ornament, visible hinges, a simple pull or handle and a frame sunk directly into the masonry. It is precisely this plainness that is characteristic of them and in a scene it reads at once as industry and not as a dwelling house. Thanks to the numbered versions a whole facade can be put together out of different leaves, so that no impression of one and the same opening copied over and over arises. Small openings of this type also work well at the edge of a scene, where they explain where the figures' path leads out of shot.
Measure the opening in the wall from the actual part, not from a plan - with architectural accessories a few tenths of a millimeter are noticeable. Seat the door so that it is flush with the plane of the masonry or slightly sunk; a leaf standing forward comes across unnaturally. Draw the joint around the frame together with filler and carry the texture of the plaster over it. When painting, give the metal parts a different degree of gloss from the surrounding wall and concentrate the marks of corrosion at the bottom edge and at the hinges, where damp stays longest.
