A resin set of accessories and cargo for bringing a plastic model of the German Jagdpanther tank destroyer to life. It is not a model of the vehicle but a set of castings that adds realistic field equipment, spare track links, crates and canvas to the hull and the superstructure. The castings come from the Czech manufacturer Black Dog, known for the quality of its resin castings.
The Jagdpanther was one of the most successful German tank destroyers of the Second World War. On the Panther chassis it carried a powerful 88 mm gun in a low, well armored superstructure. The crew routinely fastened equipment and spare parts to the vehicle, and this set captures them faithfully.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts in lukewarm soapy water. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Once primed, an airbrush works well for the base and washes or pigments for the mud and dust effects and a suggestion of wear.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model of the vehicle itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
