A resin gun mantlet in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. This is not a model of the vehicle but a detail accessory, the armored shield at the front of the fighting compartment through which the barrel passes. The part matches the early production pattern of the German Jagdpanther tank destroyer.
A resin gun mantlet captures the cast surface and the shape of the shield more faithfully than a plastic kit and it replaces the original part. The set gives the front of the vehicle a more accurate profile matching the early production batch.
Wash the part free of release agent residue, cut off the casting block and glue it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Put a primer on before painting. Bring out the cast surface with a dry brush and a wash.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. A matching base kit is needed to use it.
