This is a 3D printed resin accessory, not a model in its own right. It portrays the German twenty-liter standard can in the version with the markings of SS units. It will serve to load vehicles and to bring dioramas and field scenes in 1:35 scale to life.
The German standard can (Einheitskanister) of the 1930s became the model for the cans of every army. Vehicles and units added their own markings and lettering to their cans; the three handles, the pressed cross on the sides and the folding catch of the closure are characteristic.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry. Before separating them from the supports it is a good idea to dip them briefly in hot water; the resin softens and does not chip off. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. For a realistic look a darker base, dry brushing of the edges and a light patina of rust and dust all help; pick out the small lettering with a dry brush.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
