The Eduard photo-etched set of jerry can holders for American vehicles in 1:35 scale is a universal photo-etched accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched (brass) detail set in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not a model but a universal accessory: a set of fine holders and brackets for the carrying cans that were fixed to the hulls and fenders of American vehicles of the Second World War. These small holders are usually too coarse in injection-molded plastic or missing altogether, and a fine photo-etched version makes the finished model noticeably more realistic.
American vehicles of the Second World War carried their reserve of fuel and water in portable cans held in metal brackets. These details are exactly the sort of feature that shows careful work on a model and sets it apart from a build straight out of the box.
Separate the photo-etched holders carefully from the fret, bend them as needed on the edge of a blade and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Give the brass a primer before varnishing. It is best to fit small parts before the final weathering, so that washes and pigments work evenly across the whole vehicle.
This is not a model but a detail accessory. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
