1:35 Jungle Plant No.1

Jungle plant No.1 in 1:35 scale

The accessory 1:35 Jungle Plant No.1 belongs to the range of RT-Diorama scenic elements meant for creating tropical vegetation. It is not a model of a vehicle or a figure but an accessory with which the space around the main subject is filled. The number in the name distinguishes the individual variants of the range, of which there are several, so you can put the growth together from more than one type of plant side by side.

Where the plant fits

Tropical and subtropical vegetation is the most striking element of scenes from the Pacific, from Southeast Asia or from Central America. 1:35 scale matches the most common scale of military dioramas, so the plant can be combined with figures and vehicles from various manufacturers without interfering with the proportions of the scene.

Tips for placing it in the scene

• Plan the layout before you finish the scene - vegetation looks natural when it grows in irregular groups rather than in a row.
• Leave a clear view of the main subject; greenery should frame rather than hide.
• Make the foreground thinner than the background; the eye then passes more easily into the depth of the scene.
• Choose the way of fixing it according to the groundwork you are building the scene on.

Who the accessory is for

• Modelers who build dioramas and vignettes in 1:35 scale.
• Collectors of figures who want to set a figure into a setting.
• Anyone putting a tropical scene together from several kinds of vegetation.
