E.T. Model 1:35 Land Rover WMIK with the MILAN anti-tank missile is a photo-etched detail set for the plastic kit of the British light combat vehicle. It is not a model of the vehicle, but a metal accessory for the build.

A set of photo-etched parts in 1:35 scale for refining the plastic kit of the British Land Rover light combat vehicle in WMIK fit, that is with the weapons mount installation kit, carrying the MILAN anti-tank missile system. The metal parts replace the thin plates, the grilles, the gratings, the brackets, the clamps and the small equipment, of which an open vehicle has a great many and on which they are clearly visible. The set is not a kit in its own right and the base model is bought separately.
WMIK vehicles are based on the Land Rover off-road car, from which most of the bodywork was removed and replaced with a rigid frame structure carrying weapon mounts. The result is a very light, fast and easily observed machine for reconnaissance, convoy escort and patrol work, which however offers the crew only limited protection. British units used them above all in operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. In the variant with the MILAN system the vehicle carries a launcher for anti-tank guided missiles, which gives it the ability to fight armored targets as well.
Because the vehicle is largely open, the photo-etched parts will be visible from every side. Pay attention therefore to how straight the folds are and to how clean the joints are, as any excess cyanoacrylate shows on metal at once. Separate the parts with photo-etch scissors and sand the tags down. Degrease the metal and spray it with a primer. Vehicles of this type tend to be heavily dusted and loaded with cargo, so it pays to add crates, jerrycans and tarpaulins to the build and to use sand-colored pigments.
The package holds photo-etched parts, not a kit of the vehicle. The base model, glue and paints are not part of the delivery.
