The accessory aims at modern and present-day scenes, where no command post, office or improvised workplace in the field can do without computing equipment. A laptop is a prop that places a scene in time at once and without a single word of lettering. These are stand-alone objects of a scene, not a kit of machinery.
The same subject in three scales
The accessory is also made in 1:48 and 1:72 scale. The scale is the distinguishing detail — choose it according to the figures and vehicles in your scene.
You will set the laptops on the table of a command post, in the interior of a staff vehicle, in an office, a workshop or a present-day civilian scene. They combine well with tables, chairs and other equipment from the same diorama line, with which a believable workplace can be put together.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel, level the faces by sanding and degrease them before painting. Choose the glue according to the material — cyanoacrylate for small resin parts, thin cement for plastic on plastic. Spray the body in a dark gray or anthracite shade with a satin sheen, and suggest the keyboard with a darker wash and a fine dry brush. The display makes the greatest impression when you paint it a very dark blue-gray, varnish it with a gloss coat and add a single light reflection along the diagonal — it is exactly that reflection the eye reads as a screen that is switched on.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
