A Hauler 1:35 field latrine is a diorama accessory, not a kit and not a model of equipment. It will complete a camp or rear-area scene with an element that belongs inseparably to a field camp.
Responsibility details are not available.
The accessory is a separate scenic element for dioramas in 1:35 scale. No model of a vehicle or a building will arise from it; it is equipment for a scene that is assembled, painted and set into the terrain. The exact contents of the package and the material of the parts are given by the maker on the packaging.
A field latrine belongs to the basic equipment of any longer camp, whether military or civilian. In a diorama it works as an element that sets a scene into the setting of a camp at once and distinguishes it from a combat view. At the same time it is a practical vertical. Low scenes with equipment and figures often lack something taller than a human figure, and a simple wooden privy fills that role without drawing the attention over to itself.
Wood is not done in a single color in 1:35 scale. Break the base of a neutral gray-brown down into the individual boards, shift each one by a shade and level the differences only with a final thin wash, so that the result looks unified but not uniform. The structure of the boards is lifted out by drybrushing in a lighter tone drawn along the grain. Paint the metal hinges and fittings separately and add small rust. At the bottom by the ground add mud and grass, as wood in contact with the ground goes darker. Finally sink the accessory into the base, so that it does not stand on the surface.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package.
