A sheet of classic water-slide (wet) decals in 1:35 scale from Star Decals. The sheet is focused on Lebanese Volkswagen T3 utility vehicles in the ambulance and transport carrier versions. It offers medical insignia, lettering, registrations and further captions for building more than one variant of the vehicles.
The real subject is the light Volkswagen T3 utility vehicle, which in Lebanon was used for supply, for carrying people and as a field ambulance. It is precisely equipment that looks civilian, with prominent medical symbols, that completes the typical atmosphere of the Middle Eastern conflicts and offers a rewarding subject for a vehicle diorama.
Apply the decals onto a smooth surface gone over with gloss varnish, so that no silvering effect arises under the film. Cut the designs out close to the printing, dip them briefly in lukewarm water and slide them onto the model. For settling onto detail use a decal softener, and fix the finished markings with a matte varnish.
