A photo-etched detailing set from Eduard for the American M26 Pershing tank in 1:35 scale. This is not a model of the vehicle but a set of fine metal parts, which will replace simplified plastic features and raise the fidelity of the build. It typically holds fenders, grilles, tool brackets and other small details of the exterior.
The M26 Pershing was an American heavy tank from the end of the Second World War, later reclassified as medium. It carried a gun of 90 mm caliber and reached the front in the closing months of the war. In an improved form it served in the Korean War as well and became the basis of the later line of American medium tanks.
Bend the metal parts over the edge of a ruler and glue them with super glue. Remove the plastic features that are being replaced, degrease the metal before painting and coat it with a base paint. Weathering with washes and pigments will help the fidelity.
The accessory is supplied on its own, without the model of the vehicle, paints and glue.
