A photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:35 scale, meant for detailing a model of the lowboy transport semi-trailer that makes up the second part of the American M26 Dragon Wagon combination. It holds fine features of the load bed, the ramps, the fittings and the chains that cannot be cast faithfully in plastic. It is not a model of the trailer but an accessory for a built or part-built kit.
The lowboy semi-trailer was part of an American transport combination of the Second World War period, towed by the heavy armored M26 tractor. The combination served to transport and recover tanks and other heavy equipment, and together with the tractor it earned the nickname Dragon Wagon. The rugged trailer could carry even the heaviest tanks of its day.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
