A photo-etched detailing set for the M-3 Stuart HONEY light tank in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. An accessory for a plastic model, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detailing set from Eduard for the American M3 Stuart light tank, nicknamed Honey by British crews, in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle model but a set of fine metal parts that replace the simplified plastic features and raise the fidelity of the build. It typically holds fenders, grilles, brackets and small exterior details.
The M3 Stuart was an American light tank of the early Second World War, armed with a gun of 37 mm caliber. The British nicknamed it Honey for its reliability and pleasant handling. It was used in North Africa and in the Pacific and was supplied to the Allies in large numbers.
Bend the parts over the edge of a ruler and glue them with super glue. First remove the plastic features being replaced, and degrease the metal and give it a primer coat before painting. Mud and dust effects in the weathering bring out the character of the vehicle well.
The accessory is supplied on its own, without the vehicle model, paints or glue.
