A 1:35 conversion set for a model of the M561 Gama Goat cross-country vehicle in a fire conversion, the second variant.
Responsibility details are not available.
The M561 Gama Goat is an American cross-country vehicle with six driven wheels and a joint in the middle. The front and rear sections turn against each other in two axes, so the wheels keep contact with the ground even on very rough terrain. The vehicle served to carry cargo and the wounded where an ordinary truck could not get. The fire conversion that the name gives belongs to the special-purpose forms used in garrison and airfield areas; the marking V2 tells this set apart from the earlier variant of the same conversion.
Parts for converting a finished kit into the form stated. The set does not replace a kit, it only changes part of it, and work on the original parts, cutting and modifying, is therefore to be expected.
Offer the parts up dry first and only then cut; sand down to size rather than cutting off too much. Cut the excess material off a little way from the part with a sharp blade and sand the surface. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. The manufacturer's instructions give the right glue and the surface preparation. On a fire vehicle the coloring tends to be markedly different from military green, so it pays to spray a base layer and to try the shade out on a spare piece of material.
The kit of the vehicle, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
