The photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard is meant to complete and refine the details of a plastic model of the American M60A1 tank in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit of the tank but a set of photo-etched parts. The metal parts replace coarser plastic features and add details that cannot be carried out in injection-molded plastic in a matching fineness.
The M60 is an American main battle tank from the time of the Cold War, which followed on from the Patton series. The M60A1 version brought a newly shaped turret and a hull with reinforced armor. The vehicle was armed with a gun of 105 mm caliber and served in the armies of a number of states for several decades.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, bend them on a bending tool and glue them with super glue. Degrease the metal surfaces before painting and lay down a base coat of primer. Apply mud and dust effects with washes and pigments only once the vehicle is finished.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a model of the tank. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
