This injection-molded plastic kit captures the American M18 Hellcat tank destroyer. The set contains finely shaped parts with faithful surfaces, an open turret, individual track links, photo-etched parts and clear parts for the vision blocks.
The M18 Hellcat was an American tank destroyer of the Second World War, armed with a 76 mm gun in an open rotating turret. Thanks to its light construction it was among the fastest tracked combat vehicles of its day, and it staked everything on speed and mobility instead of thick armor.
Assemble the running gear and the individual track links. The open turret calls for careful painting of the inside before it is closed. Use a thin cement for plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. For a faithful look, an olive base, washes and dust pigments work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
