M3A1 Scout Car - color 3D interior 1:35 (Quinta Studio)

The accessory contains three-dimensional interior elements, colored at the factory and printed by 3D printing on decal paper. It is not a kit, but a detailing set for the interior of a plastic model of the American M3A1 Scout armored reconnaissance car in 1:35 scale. The parts are thicker than ordinary decals and combine the relief of resin with the easy application of a color photo-etched part. The set is prepared for the M3A1 Scout kit from Zvezda.

The real subject

The M3A1 Scout Car was an American light armored reconnaissance and liaison vehicle of the Second World War, supplied to the Allies in large numbers. Its open body with the instrument panel, the seats and the equipment offers plenty of room for detailing a visible interior.

Use

• Cut the part out, dip it briefly in lukewarm water and slide it off the backing like a decal. Do not use Micro Sol or any other softener, as it will attack the printed resin.
• Settle it onto the matching surface; secure thicker parts with a tiny amount of glue.
• The pre-colored instruments and labels usually need no further painting.
