The DEF Model M48A3 rear panel with drive sprockets (1:35) is a resin detail set of the rear part of the hull of the M48 Patton tank with drive sprocket parts added. It serves as an accessory for the Dragon M48A3 kit; it is not a model on its own.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set from DEF Model in 1:35 scale that replaces the rear hull panel of the American M48A3 Patton tank from the Dragon kit and adds drive sprocket parts. The aim is to raise the fidelity of the rear of the vehicle and to add detail that the plastic kit simplifies. It is an accessory for a model, not a kit on its own.
The M48 Patton is an American tank of the Cold War era, and the M48A3 version can be recognized among other things by its diesel engine and the changes to the rear of the hull. A finely done rear end and drive sprockets are among the items that markedly affect the overall impression of a finished model.
Wash the castings free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Before gluing, check the fit of the rear panel against the hull of the Dragon kit and lightly sand the mating surfaces if needed.
The set does not hold the base kit, paints or glue. It is an accessory for a model you obtain separately.
