The photo-etched detail set Marder I on the FCM 36 chassis, 1:35 from Eduard. It replaces thick-walled plastic parts with thin photo-etched features.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detail accessory, not a kit: a photo-etched set for a model of the German improvised tank destroyer Marder I on the captured French FCM 36 chassis in 1:35 scale. It replaces thick-walled plastic parts with thin, more faithful photo-etched features.
The Marder I came about by mounting an anti-tank gun on captured French chassis after 1940. The variant based on the FCM 36 light tank was one of the less common ones and is sought after among modelers today for its unusual silhouette.
Clean the photo-etched parts up, bend them accurately and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Thin fenders and grilles improve the look markedly; once assembled, it is worth bringing out the detail with a wash and with pigments for dust and mud effects.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
