An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Marder III Ausf.M (Sd.Kfz.138) self-propelled tank destroyer in 1:35 scale, in the early production form. The model has to be assembled and painted and is meant for building military subjects.
The Marder III Ausf.M was the last and most mature form of the Marder line, built on the chassis of the Czechoslovak Panzer 38(t). The engine moved to the middle of the vehicle, so the fighting compartment with the 75 mm PaK 40 anti-tank gun sat lower and the crew gained both a lower silhouette and better protection. The vehicles served on a number of fronts until the end of the war.
Finish the running gear and the inside of the fighting compartment first and only then close the hull. Use liquid cement for plastic on the joints and prime the surfaces before painting. An airbrush makes the camouflage transitions easier; mud and dust effects are built up with washes and pigments, which come into their own in the recesses and on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
