Two figures of Soviet tank crewmen in 1:35 scale, shaped as the crew of the T-70B light tank and adapted to the Zvezda kit 3631.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Soviet T-70 light tank came about in 1942 as a cheaply produced supplement to the numerical strength of armored units. It had a crew of two: the driver sat in the hull and the commander in the turret both loaded and fired, which was the greatest weakness of the whole machine in combat. The T-70B version received heavier armor and a reinforced running gear. The pair of figures in this set matches exactly such a crew.
Two figures of tank crewmen in 1:35 scale, shaped for the Soviet T-70B light tank and adapted to the Zvezda kit 3631. A built figure measures around five centimeters in this scale. The division of the parts, the poses and any items of equipment are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little away from the part and carefully sand the remainder so that you do not damage the folds of the clothing and the fine edges of the equipment. Wash and degrease the figures before painting, otherwise the paint holds badly. Lead the painting from the face and the hands, only then comes the uniform and finally the equipment and the footwear. Accentuate the folds of the cloth with a darker shade in the recesses and lighten the edges slightly. Try the seating in the hatches dry before you glue the figures permanently, because the way the crew sits differs with every kit.
The set serves to complete a tank kit; paints, glue and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
