Eduard 1:35 Matilda III/IV is a photo-etched detail set for the British Matilda infantry tank. It is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains brass photo-etched parts for a detailed improvement of the British Matilda infantry tank in the Mk.III and Mk.IV versions in 1:35 scale. It is not a standalone model but an accessory for a plastic kit of that vehicle. The photo-etched parts add fine exterior elements such as fenders, grilles, brackets and covers that injection-molded plastic cannot capture faithfully.
The Matilda was a British infantry tank of the early Second World War, famous for its heavy armor, which earned it the nickname Queen of the Desert. The Mk.III and Mk.IV versions differed above all in the engine used. The tank served in North Africa and became a symbol of British defense in the early phases of the war.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and form the bends with a photo-etch bending tool. Use cyanoacrylate glue. Fit the side skirts over the running gear, which are characteristic of this tank, carefully to the shape of the hull. Degrease the brass and apply primer before painting.
The set is an accessory, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
