This product is not a vehicle model but an accessory for superdetailing the cab. It contains color 3D-printed detail printed on backing decal paper, reproducing the instrument panel, the controls and other parts of the interior in relief and in faithful color. It is neither etch nor resin castings; the interior thus takes on a realistic look without lengthy painting.
The Mercedes-Benz 250GD Wolf is the military version of the G-class off-road vehicle, introduced in the German Bundeswehr as a light multipurpose vehicle. It serves to carry personnel and materiel and in various forms performs signals and reconnaissance duties. Its modern cab offers legible instruments well suited to color 3D decals.
Go over the surfaces the parts are to sit on with a gloss clear coat (Future, Klear, Tamiya X-22) and let it dry. Cut the part out, soak it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into place. The part has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on exactly that gloss coat; on a complex surface a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as their chemistry attacks the printed resin.
This is an accessory for a plastic model. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
