Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for building the model of the Israeli main battle tank Merkava Mk.IIID in 1:35 scale. The masks speed up and sharpen the painting of the areas that are to stay free of paint, and they free you from laborious cutting and sticking of masking tape. It is not a model of the tank but an accessory for painting; the basic kit has to be bought separately.
The Merkava is an Israeli main battle tank with an unusual engine set at the front, which raises the protection of the crew. The Mk.III version brought in a more powerful gun and modular armor; the Mk.IIID standard is among the upgraded variants fielded by the Israeli army. The broken-up armor and the fittings offer plenty of places where masking pays off during painting.
Clean and degrease the surface before the masks go on. Move the parts over with tweezers, press them against the edges and spray in thin coats, so that the paint does not creep under the edge. Peel the masks off before the paint hardens completely, for the crispest possible transition.
The accessory is supplied on its own. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
