Metal ammo boxes for the 37 mm anti-aircraft gun in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. Twelve pieces.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of cast ammunition boxes for the German 37 mm anti-aircraft gun in 1:35 scale. The package contains twelve pieces. The boxes for the larger caliber are bulkier than those for the 20 mm weapon, so the two cannot be interchanged; the right size is exactly what matters in dioramas with artillery.
The 37 mm anti-aircraft gun was the middle link in the German anti-aircraft defense. It was more effective than the 20 mm weapons and was deployed in prepared positions, on railway cars and on vehicles. Its ammunition was heavier and the crew had to carry it to the weapon in boxes, which then piled up around the firing position.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and level the surfaces. Place the boxes irregularly, some stacked and some turned over. Paint them a dark gray-green, rub the edges back to bare metal with a sponge and apply a dark wash into the seams. On vehicle installations do not forget the securing straps that held the boxes against movement.
The set is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
