Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the light desert patrol car Ford Model T 1917 in the Light Car Patrol (LCP) form, 1:35 scale, made by ICM. The package also includes figures of an ANZAC crew. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Light Car Patrols came about during the First World War by adapting available Ford Model T cars for desert reconnaissance on the Middle Eastern and North African battlefields. Lightened, reliable and easy to repair, the cars coped with sandy terrain and carried a machine gun as well as supplies of water and fuel for long patrols. ANZAC units used them in service too.
The open structure of the car rewards careful work on the engine and the interior before it is finished. Join the parts with thin cement for plastic; the figures can be worked into a small desert scene. After a primer and the airbrush coat, bring the surface to life with dust pigments and fine washes; sandy shades support the period atmosphere.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
