The AMX-10RC is a French wheeled armored vehicle in a 6x6 layout, armed with a 105 mm gun and used in the reconnaissance and direct fire support role. The RCR designation belongs to the upgraded version with improved protection and new electronics; the T40M turret is one of the later modifications of this family. The vehicle combines relatively heavy firepower with the mobility of a wheeled chassis.
Small parts are the most common cause of losses with photo-etched parts. Work over a light-colored surface with a raised edge, cut the parts off only just before gluing and put pieces you set aside into a shallow dish rather than loose on the table. Tweezers with blunt, slightly roughened tips hold better than sharp ones; sharp tips will shoot a small part away. When moving a part it works well to moisten the tip of a toothpick and carry the piece on it rather than gripping it in tweezers.
The set is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The kit, glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
