1:35 M1128 MGS armor plates is a Voyager Model photo-etched add-on set, not a model of the vehicle; the brass parts are fitted to an AFV Club plastic kit you already own.
Responsibility details are not available.
A targeted photo-etched set in 1:35 scale from the Chinese manufacturer Voyager Model. According to the name it deals with the add-on armor plates of the American wheeled self-propelled gun version, the Stryker M1128 MGS. It is not a kit of the vehicle: the set serves as an accessory for the AFV Club plastic model, which has to be bought separately.
The M1128 MGS is the fire support variant of the eight-wheeled Stryker vehicle. A 105 mm gun with automatic loading is built into a low turret, and the vehicle is meant for direct fire support of infantry rather than for tank-to-tank combat. The exterior is completed by add-on armor panels fixed to the hull, which on a model are usually handled with thick plastic moldings.
With flat armor panels everything is decided by how the cyanoacrylate is dispensed. Squeeze a drop onto a piece of old plastic card and pick it up with a pin or a taut wire, because applying it from the bottle straight onto the part will not do: the excess runs out along the edge and leaves a white bloom that can no longer be got out of the relief. A gel version also helps, as it does not run and leaves a few seconds to adjust the position. Lay the panel on dry first and mark its position, and only then glue. Once cured, check the joint from the side against the light: on a flat part a corner standing proud shows more than anything else.
This is an add-on set, not a model. The plastic kit, glue, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
