Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Ukrainian maker Spalah combines resin 3D-printed figures of a mortar crew with a model of the 120 mm 2B11 mortar in 1:35 scale. The whole thing is meant to be assembled and painted, and it builds a complete combat scene for a diorama. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The 2B11 is a 120 mm heavy mortar of Soviet origin, still fielded today as infantry fire support. The figures catch the crew at work around the weapon, which gives the scene movement and tells the story of how it is served. The set suits builders of modern military dioramas.
First wash the print resin residue off the resin parts, cut away the print supports and sand the parting surfaces with respiratory protection. Clean the smaller and thinner mortar parts carefully. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Use a resin primer before painting; the figures respond well to layering and drybrushing, while steel shades and fine weathering washes bring the metal of the mortar to life.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
