Responsibility details are not available.
A set of injection-molded plastic figures in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer Master Box. The set captures American infantrymen from the period of Operation Overlord in 1944 in dynamic poses - some of the men are moving at a run under fire while others cover their advance with machine gun fire. The figures are an ideal basis for an action diorama of Second World War fighting.
Operation Overlord, the Allied landings in Normandy in June 1944, is one of the most significant moments of the Second World War. American infantry advanced then over difficult ground under enemy fire, and dashing quickly between cover was a matter of survival. It is precisely such a moment that the set captures: the combination of movement and covering fire, the period uniforms, helmets and personal armament of the American soldier.
Cut the parts off carefully and clean up the joints thoroughly; with dynamic poses, take care to align the limbs correctly. Glue the figures first, treat them with primer and paint them in layers - first the faces and hands, then the uniforms in a base tone and glazes. A dry brush will pick out the folds and the kit, and pigments and washes will give a convincing effect of mud and dust on the boots and trousers.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
