Responsibility details are not available.
The package holds one figure of a Soviet officer in 1:35 scale, cast in modeling resin. The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted and is intended as an accessory for a diorama or as a display case object on its own. It is neither a kit of a vehicle nor a finished painted model.
The figure represents a Soviet officer in a uniform matching the period of the Second World War. For a modeler it is interesting above all for the cut of the uniform: a tunic with collar tabs, riding breeches, high boots, a bag and a cap. These features are painted differently from ordinary field dress, because the uniform is smoother and without marked folds, so the result stands or falls on smooth transitions of shadows and lights. A figure on its own without a group is at the same time a good opportunity for more careful painting of the face.
First wash the casting in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the release agent from the mold is removed. Cut the casting block off with a fine saw or a cutting disc, level the surface and do the sanding wet and with a respirator. Do the gluing with cyanoacrylate super glue, fill any seams with modeling putty and sand them over. Apply a thin primer, ideally sprayed, so that the details are not clogged. Paint the uniform with acrylics or oils, with shading in the folds and smooth lightening of the raised areas, and complete the leather accessories with a glaze and a fine gloss. The face is best built up by layering thin glazes from a darker base toward lighter areas. Unify the surface with a matte varnish; the leather parts can be left semi-matte.
The set is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin casting. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
