Tips for fitting and painting

The panel is fine, so put it down on a soft surface and do not press on it while cutting. Measure the length dry and make the cut at a vertical bar. Clean and degrease the surface before painting. Choose the glue according to the material of the part and of the groundwork, and apply it in the tiniest drops. Build the finish up in thin layers, so that the detail of the pattern stays legible; after the overall tone comes a restrained dark wash and a light lift of the edges with a dry brush. Concentrate rust and worn finish at the foot of the grille and at the joints, where corrosion starts in reality.
