Masking stencils for spraying German circular camouflage in 1:35 scale. The discs are of a uniform size and are cut for smaller vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
Circular camouflage is among the most conspicuous patterns that ever appeared on German equipment. Instead of soft blotches, regular discs of a single size are distributed over the hull and the turret, which break up the shape of the vehicle and take away the eye's purchase on the edges. On a model the effect is just as strong as on the real thing, except that it is hard to produce freehand: a disc sprayed without a stencil comes out a different size and a different sharpness every time, and the irregularity shows at first glance.
Die-cut stencils for the disc pattern in 1:35 scale, with discs of a uniform size measured out for smaller vehicles. The set does not prescribe a particular machine, so you lay the pattern out on the model according to your own idea.
Try the layout dry first and only then spray, because the distribution of the discs decides the whole impression more than the shades do. Depending on whether the stencil covers a disc or leaves it exposed, the disc will come out in the color of the base or in the color of the spray; plan the order of the shades in advance, therefore, and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Spray thinly and at right angles to the surface, otherwise the paint will creep under and the edge of the disc will smear. Take the stencil off as soon as the paint has set.
For builders of German equipment in 1:35 scale who want an unusual pattern sprayed precisely. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
