This is not a figure but a resin accessory from the Czech maker Firma49. The Palm hands set contains replacement palms and hands in various positions in 1:35 scale. Hands are among the most demanding parts of a figure, and a good replacement raises its conviction and the range of its gestures markedly.
An open palm, a clenched fist, a pointing or holding hand: with these you can adjust the grip on a weapon, a tool or an object more easily and bring the pose of a figure to life. The parts are 3D printed from resin with the fingers and knuckles rendered.
The parts can be sanded and drilled as usual and are bonded with super glue. Before bending the fingers around an object, a brief dip in hot water helps; the resin softens slightly and hardens again once cooled. We recommend a primer underneath and the same skin painting as on the face.
The accessory is supplied as unpainted resin parts. Figures, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
