Tubes are a rewarding accessory in a scene, because they can be used in many ways. They can run along the wall of a factory, lie stacked by a trench, stick out of a broken wall or make up a load on the bed of a vehicle. The repeating cylindrical shape also contrasts well with angular crates and barrels. On a small vignette a few pieces are enough to give the scene a story and keep it from looking empty.
The set suits industrial and city views, building sites, ruins and military vehicles in 1:35 scale. A few tubes stacked into a pile will fill an empty corner of a board and give a scene depth without drawing attention away from the main model.
Cut away excess material and traces of manufacture with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the spot. Wash and degrease the surface before painting so that the paint holds. On longer pieces check that they lie flat and seat on the groundwork over their whole length; under uneven parts it is better to level the groundwork first.
The set is meant for builders of dioramas and vignettes who work on the surroundings of a model and are looking for an accessory usable in a military as well as a civilian scene. Paints, glue, the board and the model are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
