Glazing is treacherous on a model of a building: clear plastic catches the light differently from real glass and in an opening it gives away at once that this is a set piece. A printed factory window subject gets around that problem, because it carries the reflections, the dirt and the grid of panes in the print itself. The accessory is worked out in 1:35 scale, that is in the commonest scale of dioramas with military and civilian equipment.

The figures for the number and the size of the parts are stated on the box and in the manufacturer's instructions; it is sensible to compare them with the dimensions of the window openings before you glue the building up for good. The offcuts of the subject come in useful on the smaller windows of a shed or a guardhouse.
Trim the part with a sharp blade along a rule and check the edge against the light, so that no frayed edge is left anywhere. It pays to glue the element onto the window opening from behind rather than into it, and then the joint is not visible. Apply the glue at points around the perimeter and go by the manufacturer's recommendation, so that the print is not harmed. If you are planning a lit window, check on an offcut first how the subject reacts to light from behind.
The set belongs in the equipment of builders of dioramas and vignettes who want the windows settled quickly and without masking work. It comes into its own on a factory set piece, on a ruin and in the background of a scene, where you only see a window from a distance. Paints, glue and a kit of the building are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
