Lead glazing divides a window into dozens of small fields. The light that comes through them is broken up and the interior behind the window stays in half-darkness even on a bright day. It is precisely this difference between the lit area of the window and the darkness behind it that turns a flat wall on a diorama into a structure that can be looked into.
This is a printed accessory for a diorama in 1:35 scale with a subject of window fillings of that kind. It is set into the window openings of a model of a building and replaces an empty hole in a wall. Before fixing it, put the filling against the opening dry and check how it looks from the view the diorama will be seen from. Apply the glue around the perimeter and in a thin layer, so that it does not get into the face area; the type suitable for the material supplied is given in the manufacturer's instructions. It pays to darken the space behind the window, because a light wall directly behind the filling will give away that there is no room behind the window. Wipe the fingerprints off the area before fitting.
