This set of plastic bricks from the maker COBI treats one of the most capable tracked artillery vehicles of today. The assembly is dry, the elements are secured by pressure and they carry their color from the factory, so once finished the vehicle needs nothing further.
The Panzerhaubitze 2000 was created in Germany in the 1990s as a replacement for older tracked howitzers. It carries a 155 mm gun with a long barrel and automatic shell handling, thanks to which it can send several rounds off in quick succession and move before the opponent has time to reply. And it is precisely a rapid change of position that is decisive in artillery today. The vehicle was introduced by the Bundeswehr and other European armies and serves in updated forms to this day.
Keep to the order of the steps and watch the orientation of the lower part of the hull – with tracked vehicles a small deviation at the start only shows up at the moment you are fitting the superstructure. Fit the running gear without force and keep checking whether both sides are coming out the same. The finished vehicle has its weight, so a firm base suits it.
The howitzer is built from the individual kit elements according to the numbered steps of the instructions.
