1:35 PzKpfw I in the West. PzKpfw I Ausf B. Fall Gelb - Invasion of France and the Low Countries 1940

PzKpfw I in the West (1:35, Star Decals)

A sheet of water-slide decals in 1:35 scale meant for marking models of the light tank PzKpfw I Ausf B from operation Fall Gelb, the invasion of France and the Benelux countries in 1940. It is an accessory for marking a model, not a kit.

The real subject and the markings

The PzKpfw I Ausf B was the lengthened version with a more powerful engine and an added road wheel. Although it was lightly armed, it made up a substantial part of the German tank strength in the blitzkrieg phase. The set offers tactical numbers, Balkenkreuz crosses and unit signs from the campaign in the west in 1940.

Use

• Apply them onto a smooth gloss varnish as prevention against silvering.
• Cut the design out right to the edge, soak it in lukewarm water and slide it onto the surface.
• Adjust the position, draw the water off and pull it into the texture with a softener.
• Fix it with a matte or satin varnish.

Who the set is for

• Builders of early German armor in 1:35 scale.
• Anyone interested in the campaign in the west in 1940.

The set holds only decals. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
