A sheet of decals in 1:35 scale for the special versions of the PzKpfw I light tank, among them the demolition charge carrier, the ammunition carrier and the Ausf. F version.
Responsibility details are not available.
The PzKpfw I is a German light tank of the 1930s, two-man and with a small turret. As a fighting machine it grew obsolete quickly, but its chassis served as the basis for a whole series of conversions. Demolition charge carriers for engineer work arose on it, ammunition carriers for supplying units in the field and other purpose-built modifications. The Ausf. F version is, by contrast, a design of its own with heavily reinforced armor.
The sheet in 1:35 scale is devoted to precisely these special versions, not to the ordinary fighting form. The elements are arranged so that several different machines can be marked from one sheet. The complete breakdown of the variants and the exact placing of the elements on a model are given in the instructions supplied with the sheet.
Cut an element out close to the printing and soak it for a few seconds in lukewarm water. As soon as it begins to slide freely over the backing paper, transfer it onto a smooth, glossy and degreased surface. Press the excess water out with a soft cloth, help matters with a softener at the rivets and edges, and once it has dried go over the area with varnish, so that the edges of the carrier film disappear.
The sheet will be used by builders of German prewar and wartime equipment for whom the usual fighting form is not enough and who want a less often seen conversion. A model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
