An injection-molded plastic kit of the Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H late / J early in 1:35 scale from Academy — the German medium tank of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Panzer IV medium tank in the Ausf.H version of late production, close to the early Ausf.J version, in 1:35 scale from the maker Academy. The model captures the late-war form with the side Schürzen and the long 75 mm gun. Check the exact contents of the package and the markings against the details on the box.
The Panzer IV was the most widespread German medium tank of the Second World War and formed the backbone of the tank units throughout the conflict. The late Ausf.H and Ausf.J versions carried the long 75 mm KwK 40 gun and the side skirts (Schürzen) protecting the hull and the turret. The J version simplified the design for faster production. The tank was fielded on all fronts and is one of the most typical German subjects.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the tracks before the hull is closed; leave the side skirts loose for easier painting and for possible damage that gives a more realistic look. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. Late-war machines carried multicolor camouflage schemes — after the paint has been sprayed on, emphasize the details with a wash and add dust and mud effects with pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
