A scenic building accessory for a diorama in 1:35 scale. Italian-type roof tiling is used to roof models of buildings, shelters and ruins, or as rubble scattered on the ground. It is not a kit of a building and not a finished painted model but a building element from which you lay a roof yourself. Form type A is also made as a separate item, so choose which of them you need when buying.
In a diorama with a building the roof is the most visible part and at the same time the hardest to improvise. Paper or hand-cut tiles tend to be irregular, and in 1:35 scale every deviation shows. Ready-made tiling does away with that work: the individual rows are laid with an overlap as on a real roof, so a regular pattern is created with a shadow under every tile. You can also use it on part of a roof where you want to show the bare structure of the trusses, and scatter the remaining tiles as rubble. The 1:35 scale is the distinguishing detail; the same subject also comes out in further scales.
This is a scenic building accessory, not a kit of a building. Paints, glue, a base and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
