The model carries over the rounded cast turret, the hull and the running gear matching the early production form; for the exact package contents and the number of parts, go by the enclosed instructions.
The T-62 is a Soviet medium tank that entered service in the early 1960s. It was one of the first to adopt a smoothbore gun of 115 mm caliber. The Mod.1960 form represents the early production versions, recognizable by details of the turret and the hull. The tank became one of the most widespread armored weapons of its era and served with many armies.
Assemble and fine-tune the running gear before closing the hull. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, sand the joints down and treat the surface with primer. Apply the paint with an airbrush and fine-tune the weathering with washes and pigments; on the cast turret it is worth suggesting the coarser texture of the casting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
