A stand-alone resin accessory for refining the A-4M Skyhawk in 1:48 scale. It replaces the in-flight refueling probe, the fixed boom running from the nose to the cockpit. The part is cast in one piece with sharp edges and a faithful shape, which are hard to achieve in injection-molded plastic.
The A-4M was the most capable production version of the light Skyhawk carrier attack aircraft, used above all by the US Marine Corps. The fixed refueling probe allowed refueling in flight and is a conspicuous feature of the forward fuselage.
First wash any mold release residue off the part, separate it carefully from the casting block and clean up the mating surface. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Once painted in the matching shade, the part blends perfectly into the build.
This is an accessory, not a kit. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
