Eureka XXL 1:35 set of resin wheels with a flattened contact patch for the Rosomak wheeled carrier replaces the plastic wheels from the kit and gives the model the look of resting on its own weight.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory set of resin wheels in 1:35 scale intended for models of the Polish Rosomak wheeled armored personnel carrier. It is not a kit of the vehicle but replacement parts that swap out the wheels from the plastic kit. The castings have a flattened tire contact patch, so once the model is set down on a base it looks loaded and natural, which counts for a great deal in the overall impression of a vehicle in this weight class. Eureka XXL is a Polish manufacturer of modeling accessories.
The package holds resin wheels for one vehicle and painting masks that separate the tire from the rim. According to the manufacturer, the patterns were made by measuring real wheels including the lettering and the details and converting them into a three-dimensional design, which is why the castings carry even the fine markings on the tire sidewall.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release residue, otherwise the paint holds badly. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc, and never snap them off. Protect your airways while sanding and work wet if you can, because resin dust is unhealthy. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); cement for plastic has no effect on resin. Apply a primer before painting, shade the tire in dark gray rather than pure black and finish the rims using the masks supplied. A light dusting of weathering pigment where the tire meets the road helps at the end.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
