A resin accessory in 1:35 scale from the PANZER ART brand representing the sand armor for the British A27 Cromwell cruiser tank. It is not a tank kit but a set of add-on panels with which the crews improved the protection of the vehicle.
The Cromwell was a British fast cruiser tank of the second half of the Second World War, powered by the Rolls-Royce Meteor aero engine. In the field the crews added improvised extra plates and sacks to raise their protection. Such modifications give a model the period authenticity of a machine in combat service.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean the mating surfaces up so that the panels sit against the hull. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Do the sanding with respiratory protection. The surface comes out well after a base coat, in British khaki green and with picked-out edges and chipped paint.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model of the vehicle. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
